I went to the AGM where they handed around the barrel of the MAUL, talk about lightweight, it is made of carbon fibre on a metal sleeve I believe it had a small thread inside one end presumably to screw it into the receiver? which was also very light, and they mentioned something about making the receiver even lighter? it will sell in the US especially because they asked metalstorm to make this weapon in the first place!
