There are a number of people here who claim that the "Septics" have ended up with the technology however, sadly for them at this stage it still remains with Metal Storm limited. The Receivers have put out, on 28 October 2014, an invitation for offers to purchase the Patents, Trademarks, Research & Development and Prototype Weapons Systems belonging to Metal Storm Limited, with offers closing Wednesday 26th November 2014 at 5:00pm.

For reference and perhaps to the delight of some on October 10, 2014, Metal Storm, Inc. filed a voluntary petition for liquidation under Chapter 7 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Subject to confirmation IMHO the major creditor would be Metal Storm Limited. It would seem that MST inc's exclusive licence agreement with Metal Storm Limited expired in 2013.
