France has a rigorous drugs approval process via ANSM and the process is also regulated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The review process is of course slightly different, but on par with that of the FDA. It is worth mentioning France is a leading country when it comes to the pharmaceutical industry. With global market leaders (Sanofi, Servier and also all big pharma have HQs there. France also has some of the most renown cancer research institutes (Curie, Pasteur).You alluding that it’s not the case is just preposterous.
