How much cash can LCY release from the kitty? That might be a better way of looking at what is a likely number. Of course, NMDC could fund it. They paid $18.9m for 50% of LCY when the market was a lot better. So what are they prepared to pay for just 40% of Bevan in the current market?
Anyone have recent examples of the premium to closing price that has been offered for similar acquisitions?
Take the best offer that is presented. If it is from the international company of mystery that's all good too, so long as they pay in real, not mystery dollars...
