It's pretty hard to disagree with common sense (uncommon sense?)
They don't need to drill the pit benches until very late in the game.
The resource infill could be got from surface, but draining the pit will open up that lovely 500m decline which would enable good, rapid, minimal cost 'stab' drilling.
I think a "reccy" on the recent stuff from surface (described in previous posts)would be invaluable to the 'early' game.
The benches can wait until production drilling (if things progress to that stage)
