Why aren't these near term producers hedging the dollar. Even busted a$se farmers like me have the dollar hedged out to 2010. I'm not that smart but I do know the dollar is heading to par and possibly beyond. The inflation story is far from over, inventories of everything essential in the world do not exist and we are the only country in the world determined to raise interest rates. Hell even our banks chip in occassionally when the Reserve Bank is out to lunch.

With resources and agricultural capacity why wouldn't you chase the Aussie battler?
