I read and listened to this report posted by Tran over the weekend and what I did take in from it all was the fact that the cost of the lithium component was only 2% of the cost of a tesla car,this gives great elasticity for a price increase up to and beyond the $100,000 mark for lithium carbonate,he did say in another broadcast that the total cost of the whole battery component represented 40% of the cost,until I heard this about the lithium component I presumed lithium could outprice iteself but it would appear that there is plenty of room for a price increase.
