Dan raised this as a question in his presentation in Brisbane. 12 months ago the SP was 11 cents - now HMX is worth half that even though the team has made progress or discovered new ones in virtually all prospects. We are on the verge of a resource upgrade - this against the background that in the last 6 years the prices for the metal contained in the deposit have risen drastically - here, too, one may ask why the market does not recognize this.
The problem is that no new shareholders are coming on board and the existing shareholders have built up their position over a long period of time and are now just waiting to see what happens. To be honest, one must also admit that these same shareholders have probably also been disappointed 1 or 2 times by false breakouts - where everyone thought that HMX was finally going through the roof..... only to unfortunately fall back again due to a lack of follow-up purchases or a lack of exciting follow-up results.
The sword of Damocles hangs over everything: a capital increase that could quickly cost us 10% of our money again. Of course, the level at which this CR will be carried out (if at all...) will play a decisive role. A CR at 10 cents hurts me less than at 5 cents.
Then - as today - a small volume is enough to make the SP fall almost 10%. Just keep in mind that in the opposite case, relatively low volume can probably also cause the SP to explode (e.g. after a discovery).
As I understand it, Dan is travelling to Mt Isa early next week - and joining up with the team in Hardway to see how progress is there. EM and DHEM surveys are also ongoing. Let's see what happens there.
Actually a little bit of buying interest today. I don't know but to me a SP of 5 cents is starting to look attractive - risk/reward seems to be shifting more and more towards reward - but this is really just my personal view.
The fact is that we are going in circles - and it will take something to catapult us out of this orbit. As always, everyone can do what he or she wants.
Either way, have a good weekend and let's see what the next weeks bring - and don't forget DYOR.
