I am trying to make sense of the Papua New Guinea Mining Watch article, and have contacted the company for clarification.

    Locals Sign for Gold Mine

The article says the agreement gives ACE Mining of Australia a 53 percent stake in ALLUVIAL mining at Mt Kare.

Does IDC own ACE Mining of Australia?

Is the agreement that IDC has ONLY for alluvial mining?

Will IDC be required to build the schools, health centres, hydro system, lighting, roads, bridges etc.. out of the profits (if any) of a 53 percent owned alluvial project?

    The article says the following:

(Quote) The Mt Kare mining licence has already been awarded to Kingsgate for HARD-Rock mining. The licence will expire in 2012. (End Quote)

Does this mean that IDC can not mine for hard rock gold at Mt Kare unless they successfully bid for the hard rock licence in 2012 when Kingsgate's licence expires?

Can the company please give shareholders (and others) a clear and honest picture of exactly what it owns (and what other companies own), what agreements are in place that affect IDC (and the extent and timing of those agreements), and what IDC can actually do right NOW on the property (and what it cannot do)?

    Gw
