Things move pretty quickly in PNG.

But its the sheer size of some of these projects that may look like they are slow in coming.

Admittedly, Freida River has gone slow' relative to other projects but its a 2 billion tonne monster.

Other projects such as Lihir, WafiGopu, Hidden Vally, Freida River, Yandara, Ramu Nico, Wow wow gap, and a whole lot more are booming.

When we talk about costs these are relative to the size of the project.

The big projects in PNG dwarf most here in Australia.

PNG is one of the faster regulatory environments get approvals through so delays contribute very little to cost blow outs.
