I think that chart gives a good idea but the decision to mine bit should be at the point where reality sets in IMO.
Most gold explorers who decide to mine come off quite a lot before they actually start producing gold.
Often gold explorers tank when they announce the very thing they've been gunning for - a resource.
There's two times to be in gold stocks IMO. And I could be wrong, this is just my opinon.
The first is when they have a greenfields project or somthing that has been minorely drilled before with good geology and trenching results and most imporatantantly at least one or two SOLID diamond drill results with fully funded further drilling to come.
The second is when a resource has been defined, PFS completed, CAPEX paid for either by loan, JV or dilution and first gold production figures known. Do this and it saves a lot of heartache going through every step of the above.
IDC imo are at the start of the second situation where they are defining a resource. Going by the chart that would be "Development Investment Analysis" because the deposit is kind of already there.
Everyone's got a different opinon and risk level so I'm just saying what I think. All in all IDC is a great stock with great prospects, but timing is everything.
