Mt. Morgan where I sought employment as a cadet metallurgist in 1962 was ONCE the second largest Gold/Copper mine in the Southern hemisphere. It had a depth of something like 930 Feet = approx. 300 mts.. Now it is just an old open cut mine which is filled with water.
NGF have been sniffing through the trailings of Mt. Morgan and also exploring for possible new Gold prospects.
