oh, it's going to come back to bite a lot quicker than people just putting money into super.
It's biting now ------------- all that money that would have been spent at xmas and travelling next year and kitting up for it --------------- gone - gone out of the Aussie economy - and gone from all those flow on transactions.
What's that I hear you say --------------- it's not enough to make a difference?
Isn't it? - well, if it's not enough to make a difference - then why do it?
Can't win that one.
IMO -- it is enough to make a difference - a HUGE difference.
Why?
Is the sickness of WA enough to make a big difference to the National economy? - dud housing, dud home loans dud industrial and office etc?
Yes it is.
Well - these pension cuts are going to - just for ONE thing - pretty much shut down the grey nomad business - ALL over Australia.
Think about it - they are EXACTLY the candidates for part pension - and, what exactly funds that travel?
the part pension.
So - the numbers of travelers will drop like a stone - and the businesses that they supported will also drop along with the number of employees ---------------- all that income, all that spending power - and the HUGE amount of all that flow on effect.
and, it's not limited to rural or outback - it will be in the cities as well - much more limited disposable income - and what do people do the poorer they get???? -- they hit the pokies - and, they lose - so, that disposable income is again hit to all bar pubs. --------
Hello recession - here we come - ready or not.
