It was about lifters and leaners, earning or learning, double dippers, poor people don't drive cars, if you want a house, get a good job.

Of all those I think it's the double dipper demographic that can decide election outcomes the most.

The affected pensioners might be able to apply pressure at the policy formation level through their local party representatives.
