Hard rock lithium is used to produce the more sought after lithium hydroxide for battery production, a carbonate plant doesn't seem to be a fit for MTC if Cancet is as viable as claimed. Why Moran is interested in a carbonate plant which would likely produce a product from brine lithium fields such as in Chile is anyones guess but as the carbonate would then more than likely need to be converted to hydroxide for battery production, in a more expensive process than that obtained from hard rock sources, I can see why the people who initially built this plant are likely walking away from it. Perhaps someone could sell him a bridge to float
