The only tragedy in this sector I see is the expectations of short term investors who watch the daily metal price fluctuations and think that has any relevance to the future demand for them when the many battery gigafactories currently being built for the well planned move toward electric vehicles and solar storage. It doesn't happen overnight but it is happening steadily.
Completely disagree with you that nobody would invest money in this high grade, close to surface, low impurities lithium ore we allegedly have if they thought we could take it to JORC. There's plenty who'd jump at the chance, including the overly patient BCC. You drill holes to prove it's there, the price goes up and you raise capital. Otherwise you are signalling that you are less than confident, whether that perception is accurate or not.
