There are some examples on news sites where directors have been banned for breaches including Breaches of the Obligations of Continuous Disclosure, much information is to be found if you google that term.
Some breaches I saw, where directors have been banned for periods of 3 years seemed to me to be quite minor and I was surprised the penalty was so severe.
This is also a common method of shareholders seeking redress. There's much info on ASIC website too.
