It hasn't even been 1.5 years since listing but anyone who participated in the IPO and needed some of their money right this moment could have done so for a 100% gain under millions of dollars of volume in November, or a 75% gain in November or a 50% gain in December or even a smooth 30% profit a mere ~12 weeks ago.
MTC's free float is currently ~$3M worth because the rest is made up of founders/land vendor's current holdings and escrowed holdings. The illiquidity is expected for this size, and it has and will again show its benefits when volume floods in and there's not enough selling volume to feed the appetite of new holders, even if a lot of holders jump out after making a quick buck.
