Do you know how much a single 100m deep diamond core hole costs to drill? $25000 according to the independent geologist in the prospectus. I'm glad they didn't get overzealous and burn through every last cent of cash wildly drilling the massive area of Cancet over winter, and that they didn't chase more results at Adina.
As the company has stated, the only intention of Adina's drill program was to prove its ability to feed Cancet with more tonnage, even if it's just as a LOM extension. The results showing Lithium intercepts made Cancet and Adina more valuable as a package deal for attracting an investment at project level.
I'm also glad they're spending this much time pinpointing the best initial drill locations because money is more valuable than time at this stage: battery minerals demand and pricing is only going up in my opinion, and burning money on careless holes is the easiest way to force unnecessary dilution on existing shareholders which compounds long term into massively reduced returns.
