It's not material/disclosable/illegal to trade until a binding terms sheet is signed.
Last time there was an MTC director buying on market, a few weeks later in a speeding ticket from 11.5-15c they admitted to the ASX price query that they have been approached by many companies but had not accepted an offer yet. 2.5 weeks later the BCC announcement dropped for MTC to peak at 40c.
This time it was all 3 directors buying, so personally I think there's a good chance many good options are sliding into their DM's, inspiring management's confidence to throw more of their own cash onto the table. But it might just be confidence in Rusty Lake/Bay Lake's maiden drilling program success too.
The BCC announcement coincided with a 10% daily gain for their share price, which is a $60M gain in their market cap. Safe to say they (and every other listed Chinese company) need that kind of action right now.
