Gold, and silver plus other commodities, are selling off due to the Trump election win. This is due to surge in Treasury yields as everyone is expecting the deficient to sky rocket with all the tax cuts. Market is also expecting increased inflation, and hence the timeline for interest rate cuts pushed further out.
But, of course we will have to see what policy comes out of the White House
