MTJV PGE Drilling Program Related News Thread

IMHO, the final outcome of the current CNJ/GSR MTJV PGE etc. drilling program will probably determine the destiny of CNJ (I am not joking!).

Therefore, given its massive importance, and given that this drilling program is now nearing the end of its first week, I believe that it is high time that this forum had a specially dedicated thread or "news hub", on which CNJ followers can keep track of the developments and the news related to this crucial and highly exciting drilling program.

Just so that we all are on the same page, CNJ/GSR will be drilling 20 holes in Phase 1 (yellow dots), and 43 in Phase 2 (pink dots). Here is a map with these details:




For Phase 1, CNJ/GSR said drilling is expected to be completed within 8-10 weeks. This means 56-70 days. I figure that it will take approximately 60 days all up, which is 3 days per hole, with an average of 290m per hole (for a total of 5,800m).

For Phase 2, the average hole depth for the 43 holes will be approximately 334m (for 14,350m total).

IMHO, as early as next week, we may receive a progress report detailing some preliminary indications (not the final assay results!) about the success (or failure) of the first MTJV drill hole i.e. MTDD0001, which should by now have been completed.

I look foward to some intelligent input from other posters, as well as an adult and professional discussion about the results from the MTJV drilling program as they come to hand.
