Amigos, do not be mislead by critics who complain that MTM's FJH technology only produces gallium chloride, not pure gallium. That is a joke. Go back to high school chemistry, or just goggle it and let AI explain. Pure metals can be produced from metal chlorides by electrolysis, whereby "an electric current is passed through the solution of metal chloride. At the negative electrode the pure metal will be deposited while chlorine gas is released at the other electrode". (I am guessing that the chlorine gas could then be recycled i.e. used again in the FJH process to extract more metal chlorides?) Electrolysis has been used for donkey's years by refineries to purify many metals, including magnesium, silver, nickel, copper, etc. I am pretty sure the team at MTM knows all this, and more. These are not fluffy announcements by MTM. (Does anyone really expect MTM to give away their Intellectual Property by writing every detail in their announcements?)
