Indium Corporation are not running out of ga or ge to implement into their products nor is the US in the short term.
They have stockpiles but nothing significant so may affect them in the future hence the preparation. IC will continue to have leftover scrap from their products on top of what they have stockpiled and sent to landfill.
They may now introduce MTM (if things go well) to their semiconductor clients as mentioned which opens even bigger doors for us. Im also sure they have a variety of contacts beyond that for their products which opens the doors to even more ga/get feedstock to be processed.
My point, ga/ge can and will get extracted beyond whatever amounts of feedstock IC has to supply us by simply using other waste streams.
