“...if it works its a home run...”

As I’ve said before, I don’t think it’s a matter of it working or not, they are not flashing a bigger quantity, it’s just a matter of getting the engineering mechanical right.

MTM through Investor Hub answered a question I posed, I’ll paste the answer here, as you can see for yourselves the chambers are the same as they are currently using.

“The reaction chambers used in the 1 tpd system are replicas of what we are currently using for our testing using the prototype or benchscale unit. The mass is feedstock dependent, but each chamber should be capable of holding several kilos”

So it’s all been done before, just a matter of incorporating the multi chamber & semi batch into the design.

They’ve said the demo unit is made up of 2 units, the artists impression shows 5 chambers per unit (not necessarily correct), if they flashed 1.5kg (they said “several”) per chamber (5), to get to 500kg in the 12 hours (mentioned previously as being 1 day) they’d need to do 333 flashes or about 1 flash every just over 2 minutes (with 2 units doing 500kg each to get the tonne) each chamber in the unit would be flashed every 11 minutes in the cycle

Other questions they’ve answered today & yesterday include “actively expanding our testing capacity ” (they already have 2) and although the 1st prototype cost ~ $1.5m most of that was on engineering, to build new prototypes for testing the cost is expected to be “relatively modest”

Also they expect to start processing material in November, so dry commissioning before that, a month of wet commissioning to be in production by end of December - which is a little different to the Peloton research paper.
