MTM are certainly kicking some goals, the Crux interview was a real eye opener.

One of the takeaways for me was that Michael has in the past been saying they’d be in production by year’s end was “highly ambitious”. In this Crux interview he is far more confident that this will be achieved, almost to the point of being a certainty. They are really getting on with it, with most companies these timelines slip out.

The same can be said for the so called 1 tonne per day Plant. I think it’ll end up being much higher than that, in fact in the last webinar Steve talked of 10 TPD.

Having a premise that is pre-permitted is a real bonus. Michael stressed how important being permitted to handle waste was, the air + water permit tweaking he said should happen within 2 weeks. Imagine trying to get all that done in Australia, Texas is a very pro business state. having the right to purchase it is also a plus especially if we wanted to expand onto those 20 acres.

They once again said the upscaling was pretty well fully de-risked because they will be using the same crucible size (1-2kg) that they are presently using. Just that they’ll have 2 lines of 20 so the processing rate is significantly increased.

It also sounds like the Indium corp agreement is at the pointy end, negotiating price for different purities. In past announcements they’ve said Indium corp import 2N (99%) pure Gallium & process it into a higher purity. Steve mentioned 99.99999% which is 7N, not sure if he meant 5N, because the price drastically increases for 5N etc. Hopefully we can get our purity up to get a better price.

Getting some Government funding seems very likely, these 3 extra plants Steve talked of would probably be next year at the earliest after we prove the Demo Plant we’re building.
