I watched the video I am also a synthetic organic chemist ironically this chemistry I would class as inorganic/physical..not organic. Michael is right the chemical engineer’s job is to scale up from the lab to industrial size Those not in the industry should know, this is not easy..ever. Things that work at lab scale OFTEN do not translate to working as well at scale. Might be a simple as heating a larger volume, mixing a larger volume, side reactions, flow through pipes..the list is LARGE. Not to say it cant be solved, but let’s just say, if there are no teething troubles I will be staggered. So its high risk, lots of patience required, possibility for major setbacks, multiple capital raises.. but..there is gold at the end of the rainbow no gain without pain
