Trouble is they wouldn't buy it they'd just copy/steal it. The Co-Inventor Duy Luong is after all Chinese & has returned to China.
I don't see it as being a problem, as the Western World wants to become self sufficient in producing these critical metals and we have the World Wide patents, even if the Chinese copy & develop it they can't sell the technology. They already control 100% production of many of these metals, so they're at their upper limit already.
