Inthe previous quarter NuEnergy worked with the Special Task Force For UpstreamOil and Gas Business Activities (“SKK Migas”) on the three selected core holewells to fulfil the PSC’s firm commitments after identifying the coal seamdistribution. The result from the drilling of these core hole wells willconfirm the coal seam lateral distribution hence the extensiveness of the gasresource.
Thecoring operation is on track to complete before the exploration perioddeadline. NuEnergy is currently continuing with the preparation of the drillingprogram and the environmental permit application, for coring activities to becompleted by 29 January 2025.
