BlueScope shares closed at $A9.27 on 6 March 2007, having gained 18 per cent over the previous month. At 10 times forecast earnings for 2007-2008 compared with an historical average of 8.7 it is beginning to look expensive. Analysts say the company's outlook is heavily dependent on what happens to steel prices globally.
