Well there lies what really happened isn't it? .. and this is something trump can't bring himself to admit. That noone liked Clinton. Dems shot themselves in the foot by not putting forward the guy who everyone wanted - Sanders. That created the right conditions for someone as divisive as trump (aided by a massive negative media campaign conducted by russia) to squeak over the line.

As for this 'spying' rubbish. Most people call it an 'investigation'. The beginning of which was approved by a judge based on information received from Australia (not the steele dossier). Republicans just can't stop banging on about the dossier (which by the way is a good read - you should take a look if you haven't read it. https://archive.org/stream/TheSteelDossierTrumpIntelligenceAllegations/The%20Steele%20Dossier%20-%20Trump-Intelligence-Allegations_djvu.txt) ... there's too much detail in there for it to be just 'accusations'.
The truth is there was plenty of reason to believe that trump could've been compromised or have had suspicious relationships with russians - much of it is publicly known. .. and a lot of it has been confirmed by the mueller report. Especially when you factor in his repeated public denials of ANY dealings with russia then to just try to dismiss this as 'nothing to see here' is truly shocking.
For someone like trump who campaigned on 'drain the swamp' and then be the very definition of same is hypocrisy at it's worst. I hope he's drowning in investigations by the time 2020 comes around.
