kincella I don't know if you have had anything to do with problem gamblers, but I can tell you that poker machines are a serious issues for those that they entice.

I have known the problems poker machines cause family and others. From not being able to pay basic bills or buy food for the kids.

Those people didn't race out and try to find other ways to gamble, the problem was basically related to just poker machines for them.

Claiming that the clubs rely on taking money from problem gamblers is insane.

The money problem gamblers don't loose at those clubs will be spent on other things more related to their families basic needs, so the economy will still keep ticking over.


The changes will not stop problem gambling, but it will help to reduce problem gambling.
That has to be a good thing, (unless you profit from other peoples suffering).
