For those interested, just posting my review into the potential size and thus acquisition time for the Mukuyu 3D. Previously, the weather window for seismic acquisition has been the dry season between April & October inclusive. If IVZ are to acquire the full 3D within what's left of the 2024 dry season then IMO the 3D needs to start by mid July. If the time frame gets too short then a second option could exist of acquiring the 3D in two portions, with the 2024 shoot allowing for locating the three Mukuyu appraisal wells previously mentioned for 2025.
Slide 1 - The area that needs to be acquired to fully image a prospective region is materially larger than the region itself. Due to requiring In-Line Fold Taper & Migration Aperture areas.
Slide 2 - Top Upper Angwa Depth map with Top Lower Angwa depth lowest closing contour superimposed.
Slide 3 - With an estimated 4km In-Line Fold Taper & Migration Aperture, based on depth to key zone of interest and In-Line Fold Taper, IMO a 3D to cover the full Mukuyu structure would be in the vicinity of ~435sqkm with a time frame to acquire of ~17.5 weeks.
Slide 4 - If the acquisition time frame became too short then an option could exist of acquiring the 3D in two parts. One part in 2024 of a size, ~230sqkm, that would allow drilling of appraisal wells in 2025 with the second two portions being acquired in 2025 then the full data set would be reprocessed.
As with no doubt many others I'm getting a little concerned about getting the 3D acquired within the dry season so that Mukuyu appraisal drilling with hopefully work towards initial pilot production can move forward in 2025.
Slide 5 shows the dry season with the time frames to acquire a full 435sqkm & a central 230sqkm survey.

Slide 6 I've included a few comments with regard to SM's comment regarding not being able to acquire the 3D while drilling and testing is on going at Mukuyu-2/ST1 - I would be surprised if this proves to be a major issue.
