So the Aboriginal lady in the media lately Ms Carmody , who bought shares in Vmy so she could oppose the mine is complaining due to lack of consultation as a traditional owner and Native Title Claimant , which she lodged the claim in 02 Dec 2020 . Well it turns out Ms Carmody is a decendant of the Marilinga people of South Australia, so why would Conservation Council of Western Australia join forces with Ms Carmody cause the Aboriginal people of the area, the Nanataddjarra, Nangaanya-Ku and Wongatha people had thier Native Title Claim rejected in 2007 but they are still seen as the custodians of the area.

IMO it's a waste of taxpayers money on a claim that will be rejected.

Accusations in regards to the Sandhill Dunnart you would have to look at the Terrestrial Fauna Monitoring and Management Plan which is approved by the WA Government.
The key conditions and wording of the document are in Vimy's favour as it states.

10-1 The proponent shall manage the implementation of the Proposal
to meet the following environmental objectives:
1) Minimise direct and indirect impacts as far as practicable on
conservation significant fauna species; and
2) Monitor the presence of the Sandhill Dunnart using
methodology established in the Camera Trapping Program
