Hi States,

I can't advise on short term trading because I hate it.
I hate it because i never made real money trying to guess fluctuations over a day, week or month.

I never buy a share over 50 cents and not usually over 10 cents.
While it makes no logical sense, it's easier for a 1 cent share to go to 2 cents, a 5 cent share to go to 10 than a 50 cent share to go to a dollar. I never buy a share I don't see a realistic chance of making ten times profit,
The reason is that they don't all come off. I have been incredibly lucky that most have in the past that also comes down to patience and good FA. Keep doing FA and reinforcing your belief but never get emotionally attached to a share.

I'm a firm believer in holding for the long term and continuing to do FA.
It's usually spur of the moment decisions that cost money and FA stops that.

No doubt there will be some TA guys with a different point of view.
I think they can predict a static stocks next few days or weeks but that's about it.
They could give all kinds of figures about AJM and many contradictory ones.
End of the day they are not that good and that's why there are so many ways they look at it.
End of the day they can't predict an announcement out of left field.

You should get all opinions and go with your gut feeling and what suits you.

Knowledge is king. That means FA.
