Following up from my previous post, the latest presentation from BNZ makes is clearer and clearer how exceptional this resource is and will be.
If you review the images relating to the conductor plates and where they've drilled the 12 latest holes, you can quite easily get a sense for the scale we're dealing with. In the tweet I attached below, I've circled the existing resource contained in Zones A-D in red.
The EM signatures in those existing resources are decent and they've thrown up 375koz gold at around 8gpt. Then looking at the size and positioning of the the other conductor plates, it's clear as day that we're going to have a string of high-grade lodes along strike. If 2+2=4 then these new zones being drilled will more than double the existing resource. I can easily see over 1Moz here in the next few months.
Assays from the 12 holes that targeted the new conductor plates and additional geophysics from this area will be released by end January. We already have visible gold in the cores, excellent sulfide widths and the alteration halo is significant with all the right minerology in there (it is damn near identical to the Bellevue deposit developed by BGL). I suspect we'll be very pleased with the results.
Another interesting point is that the EM signatures from the existing resource areas appear to be slightly offset from the known resource areas in A-D. Is it possible the previous management simply tried to drill downdip to find the extension but missed it? I'm going to search for the historical drills and prove my theory but I think I'm right. If so, that means our new strategy of deploying DHEM is a winner and could further extend the crazy high-grade resource in Zones A-D. What a win that would be.
With gold projects, grade is king. And we have close to 400koz at 8gpt. That means each ounce will be cheaper to extract which makes each ounce far more valuable to the majors than these new deposits being developed at 1-2gpt. When we crack 1Moz at 8gpt and go on to test the enormous strike and end up with 3-5Moz, we'll have our DEG style run to $1B MC. It'll take time (BGL did 2c to $1.40 in 3yrs) but with such strong news flow and zero chance of a CR in 2021, we'll be attracting all the right kinds of attention from instos and major goldies.
Hugely exciting times for BNZ SH. I personally think we'll crack $300m MC by March which is approx $3.00 on ASX so the upside is huge and near term.
Strong, strong buy IMO.
