Can I make a suggestion:
Instead of hiding 1/2 the ip address for privacy, why don't you display the results of an encryption hash of the full address.
Any two ip's that are the same will produce the same hash (something like "asJq12nm5JD"). However only the holder of the key (HC) can decrypt it to find the original IP address.
