Bringing in people with the capacity to assimilate would be wonderful.
For example importing Muslim men who believe it is fine for male relatives and spouses to control women has been shown to be extremely problematic. Deliberately keeping them out is a necessity in my book.
However trying to pressure or socially engineer Australian citizens to behave the way the cultural majority, or governments, want is a completely different story.
