I think that is trivilising the situation.
We've got to take some (if not most) of the responsibility for upsetting the world's balance. Through colonisation, invasions pillaging and mass slaughter of indigenous peoples, their homelands have become the so-called "third world" or "developing" countries.
As a result, people from those countries want to emigrate to have a better life. Emigrate to those "first world" countries that incidentally caused this imbalance in the first place.
The British, the French, The Portuguese, the Belgians in Africa, the British and Portuguese in India, the British, French, Spanish, Russians, Austrians, Germans in Asia, the Spanish in South America.
Why should they need to pay the price for what we've caused?
To suggest what you're suggesting is grossly irresponsible. IMO of course.
