What I mean is - those countries have very unique cultures but I think at the core they share a lot in common and this makes it easier for them to assimilate.
You see that in London today with the East Europeans. They are here in huge numbers, barely speak the language yet somehow they just fit in and no-one complains and everyone wishes them best of luck.
