Does ANY person of ANY faith have to obey their religious text or follow its principles to the letter of the law?!
The simple fact is most people do not. They use it as a guide to how they conduct themselves in life. The issue is some on these threads are applying a literal slant to a particular text to perpetuate their argument. Yet when presented with examples in other religious texts, they choose to ignore it. They want to have their cake and eat it too!
