Multiculturalism is fine and has worked well in Australia. However, the downfall is and will be who we allow to immigrate. We all know that the majority of cultures have no problems living in harmony with one another. But, the biggest mistake our government is making is not being able to identify who the problem cultures are and introducing policies to prevent them from immigrating.
I don't see anything wrong with a government selecting cultures who have the ability to assimilate with our culture. To me, that is good planning and the sign of a responsible government.
