multiculturalism in primary school, page-20

I have spoken to the headmaster.
School is not at all multicultural, very anglo saxon middle class. Lots of mercedes and BMWs, lots of birkenstocks, you get the picture.
Teachers are all very young, enthusiastic, lot straight out of University.

Emphasis in school not on rote learning but of 'involving' and 'engaging' the children. Suspect the teachers do not have the maturity to understand when this is appropriate or not.

Headmaster is investigating the question, as he also feels it is an innapropriate question.
