Thanks. I struggle sometimes approaching the other parents about matters such as this (and there have been a couple of similar incidents at the school), as I live in a very affluent area, where practically everyone is a labour voter. Also, I find that many other parents just don't question things as much as me, and just think it's great that the children are being taught 'social justice'. I therefore come across as some kind of uncaring hard core 'militant mother'.
But I will ask the children a bit more about this, and approach the head teacher.
