don't get too excited - although it does lift hopes a little - they have cracking brands and someone else bedding them into their stable of products would be able to get benefit in the longer term.

what gave me a lot of confidence is that lazards are good advisers.

only a matter of days before they turn down the aspen bid but at the same time they need to argue why they did and how they came to the conclusion that sigma is worth more.

the new ceo really wants to have a go at turning this company around - hopefully though aspen fight hard.

tough times and the share price is disturbing but if it turns into a medium term play so be it. mark did good things at paperlinx and relishes the challenge here.
