I’m really confused as to why we hadn’t already seen an announcement on this. It was apparently submitted to ClinicalTrials.gov on 29th June.
Possible reasons swirling in my head:
1 - The folks at Mesoblast didn’t think it was market sensitive or important enough for an announcement. (That doesn’t feel right to me)
2 - The folks at Mesoblast f#$&’d up because they are busy. (That doesn’t feel right to me)
3 - The folks at Mesoblast consider announcing this to be part of a broader announcement (eg COVID ARDS trial intermediate results) which is taking time to adequately prepare to present appropriately to market. (Feels like most likely to me, but also feels like a huge stretch)
4 - ???
Anyone else got a better explanation?
