Non-compulsory voting means that the pollies can completely ignore the demographics that don't , which is usually the most disadvantage people in their society.
When Obama ran for President, they had enormous increase of voters, I would guess Black.So if they really want to they can.
If you can't be bothered to get off your backside and vote,why should you matter.
Non-compulsory voting is what Australia should have.
