not sure....free carried is what I call when you buy shares in 1 company say for 10 grand you then get your 10 grand back .plus because you traded you keep the few shares left over and reinvest your money into something else....and wait for those other shares to rise and upon the circimsance at the time you may keep or collect divi etc
