I've only seen a handful of his fights and I'm no expert on boxing but this is my opinion. I think he was a bit of a "Coward" (I would be too) in that he feared being knocked out. I base that on a fight I saw between him and Kessler several years ago where Kessler kept him at bay easily with his jab, and Mundine when he knew he couldn't penetrate Kessler's defence and wasn't prepared to take risks to try and knock Kessler out. He was willing to lose on points rather than get knocked out. I also think he lacked power in his left hand and against better fighters like Geale that makes him predictable and easily combatted. All they need to look out for is the bomb from the right hand because the left can't hurt them. I think he did well for a guy who went to the sport at about 24 years old with very little experience.

    Reaper.
