I have watched boxing for many years and watched this fight with an ex boxer. We turned to walk out of the Perth Casino knowing that Mundine won the fight quite convincingly after the 4th. We heard rapturous cheering from the crowd only to see Green being given the title.
We both wanted Green to win, but not that way.
The judges must be blind. Mundine, once again, outboxed Green all night ( apart from that early cheap shot).
Green was stalking for low blows but couldn't land any meaningful punches on the very evasive Mundine.
You only had to look at both faces after the fight to see who won.
